Sunday Update!

God is so good. We've experienced another great weekend. We had a great Sunday service with new people. We seem to say it every week but we are just amazed at God's goodness. Everyone is so eager to learn and is so excited about the Word.

It's funny because when we first started, people were coming to church and we were asking ourselves, "Do these people have Bibles?" because no one was bringing their Bibles or notepads. So NOT what we're used to! So, we really began teaching on the that and placing importance on the Word. And it's working! They are grasping the truth. We've noticed over the last several weeks an increase in people bringing their Bibles and taking notes. One of our women even commented today how good it was to see all the Bibles in the air as we were making our declarations. And it is good to see that. Those who didn't even have Bibles, going and buying one and bringing it to church.

Then we have other people who are really in to the Word who are so excited to have a place where the Word is being taught. The one thing we keep hearing over and over is this, "We've been praying for God to bring a church like this to the Bellevue area." Isn't it funny how God works? He had this all in the works long before any of these people knew He was answering prayer. There are many great churches in the Nashville area and we say all the time that we know God has us here just as another piece of the puzzle. There are pastors all over this city believing for a move of God in this territory.

Even though it's a LOT of work right now, setting up and tearing down every week in the school, it is so worth it. We know we are in the season of plowing ground and building something from nothing. But God is faithful in that and we are so excited and blessed with the people He's brought to us so far.
